We believe that fitness is not a destination, but rather a lifelong journey. Our number one goal in the PAC Fitness Department is to make the ride as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Getting Started: As a member of the Portsmouth Athletic Club, you are entitiled to participate in an unlimited orientation program called Fitness 101.
What is Fitness 101? Fitness 101 is a program developed with the new club user in mind. Fitness 101 will give you the know how to acheive the results you are looking for. Classes are taught in a small group setting by a PAC Fitness Professional. Class is broken up into two parts, Upper Body and Abdominal Exercises (A) and Lower Body and Cardiovascular Exercises (B). As a member of the Portsmouth Athletic Club, you are also entitiled to a one on one appointment with a Fitness Professional to help personalize your workouts to best acheive your goals.
Why did we develop Fitness 101? The most important reason we developed Fitness 101 is to connect with members and give them the tools they need to get the results they want.
When will Fitness 101 meet? Please check the Group Exercise schedule to determine this semesters class times.
How do I sign up? There will be a sign up sheet at the front desk, simply sign up for a time that is convenient for you and show up ready to learn! Try to get a friend to sign up with you, you could gain a great workout partner!
